Short ass post

There’s a fine line between scared and concerned. Since I don’t like to say I’m scared, I say I’m concerned instead.

Advertising reviews I fear abide by the same set of rules. When others say they are concerned over the creative work, what they actually mean is they are scared by it. But isn’t being scared a good thing? An all encompassing powerful thing ready to knock the Arcoroc mugs off the shelves and play the piano at 1am in the morning? Isn’t that smell of fear something which gets a client’s brand noticed?

Next time you hear someone say in a meeting that they are concerned, tell them… “I believe you meant to say (whispered in their ear) ‘I’m scared’.”
